1 year later...

We've been married one year!! Best year of my life baby :)
Lots has been going on since January, namely: I am now a part-time youth pastor! Since Febuary I have been employed part time at the Anglican Church of the Resurrection in Grand-Bay. It's a new experience, especially switching churches. I'm not sure if it's my life vocation, but I'm learning lots! Jamie and I have been getting to know the kids and the people in the church, and we have lots of ideas for the coming year!

Our last youth group night!

Us in London, Ontario for Jenni's wedding

We just had our two week vacation of the year and spent it in Ontario for Jenni's wedding (Jamie's sister) and in Québec for our good friends Ben and Jo's wedding, with some visits in between.

In London we visited this awesome restaurant: the Mo
ngolian Grill, where you basically build your own stir-fry and they grill it right in front of you! Really really good.
As you can see, Jamie was SU
PER excited about it!!

That same day we had another new and delicious culinary experience: the Marble Slab. Best ice cream EVER.

You choose on of their home-made ice creams, they plop it unto a frozen m
arble and mix in as many toppings that you can pay for: whole chocolate bars, fresh fruit, candies, sprinkles, peanut butter... they have it all! and it's SO good. Too bad there are none east of Toronto. Click on the pictures to really see the deliciousness!

And no, eating was not all we did on our vacation...
Although our time away was pretty hectic we did enjoy seeing friends and family that we hadn't seen in a
while:

Still married

Yes, almost 5 months and we are still married. Very happily married, I might add!
We've been up to lots and lots of stuff...
Small group on Tuesdays
Youth group on Wednesdays
Gymnastics for me on Fridays (Woohoo!!)
Visiting friends and family
Various events here and there that fill up our time...
Life is good baby!!!

Some of the kids I hang out with at Chat + Tea ---------->

I've been going to Chat and Tea on Mondays and Wednesdays, a group where immigrant moms with small children can come and chat with some Canadian ladies to improve their english, and their kids can play.
Also, I have a newly acquired part-time job: a translator for the company Jamie works for! It's wonderful, I can work from home and make lots of money. Well sort of! God has wonderfully provided something perfect for me to do, where I can contribute to the family finances, and improve my translation skills.
Jamie's job is going well.

God is good, marriage rocks, and we're looking forward to our future together!

Photo shoot

I forgot to post some highlights of our photo shoot. Thank you to Davey and Sarah, our almost-professional photographers!

Our new home

Living room: beautiful big windows!

Kitchen: complete with washer/dryer and dishwasher!

Jamie building our computer desk. I helped.

View from the entrance-way.

Thank you Lord for such a nice cozy place to live! We LOVE married life and making a home together. It's just the beginning of a whole new... everything!

Gone slightly crazy after all that moving. Get this: this ball of yarn cost 5$ and is
made of 100% authentic unknown material!

Sanctification of love.

Binding ourselves before God.
Our vows, in english, et aussi en français.

Wonderful time of worship.

Nous venous t'offrir nos louanges
Nos coeurs pleins de reconnaissances
Et nous entonnons avec les anges
Ce doux et merveilleux chant

Alléluia, Alléluia, Alléluia, Alléluia
